I am currently working in North Oaks as a part time server. I work with the assisted living residents, and some of them have dementia, or other disabilities. I now know my calling is to work with the elderly. Most residents have dinner by themselves. I have found that while working with the elderly all they want is someone to be there for them, to talk with them, hugs and companionship.
