From May of 2009 to December of 2011 I cared for a 60-year-old male who was a stroke victim and also had dementia. I provided bathing, medication, trips to doctor appointments, shopping and general companionship. I love the one on one care and building a relationship. I find it very rewarding and truly enjoy helping and making a difference. Unfortunately he passed in December. In January 2012, I cared for a 98-year-old woman. I provided all the same care here also. I understand the difficulty the client has with allowing someone to help. Respecting them and helping to maintain their dignity is of great importance. Sadly this dear woman passed on April 14, 2013. April 2014-November 2016 provided companionship and overnight care for a 97-year-old woman. From April 2021 to present time I have been caring for a 90-year-old woman in her home. This includes all aspects of daily life. Also caring for a 94-year-old man with Parkinson's. I have never met a nicer, kinder human being in my life. Debbie cares for my father like he is her own. She is warm & caring, & you are never made to feel It is just a job to her. It feels like family. Anyone would be lucky to have her!!
