Hi! I'm 53, and have previous experience as a caregiver for 8 years to my my former spouse, who had complex medical needs due to a rare genetic condition. I am often asked if I am a nurse. While I don't have that formal training, between my husband and my hospital chaplaincy training, I gained a lot of medical knowledge. I also have had CPR/first aid training in the past. My master's education included dementia care. I worked in the funeral industry for a time (read has a good sense of humor and excellent people skills). I then started my own business 3 years ago. It has not provided the financial security I seek, and so I am returning to the root of my calling to help people. Thanks for reading. I look forward to our conversation!
