About Deborah

Hello! My name is Deborah and I am a graduate student at Lee University, currently studying Holistic Child Development. I enjoy providing children with a nurturing and positive environment. I enjoy implementing age appropriate activities such as sensory time, experiential learning, child-led play, tummy time, gross and fine motor skill development to name a few! Anything that has to deal with the outdoors, I am on board! Long walks, swimming, a nature scavenger for the children, you name it! I find joy in hands on activities with children to help them learn and grow, not every child learns or plays the same. My approach to redirection is emotion led, getting to the child's level and having them learn how to be in-tune with their emotions and to why a certain feeling they felt made them act in a certain way. I value communication and a good relationship with the parents to create a loving environment!
