About Deborah

I'd describe my personality as easygoing, caring, and compassionate. I like tutoring because it thrills me to teach children how to read and write. I also enjoy teaching grammar and writing skills using IEW (Institute for Excellence in Writing) curriculum. I'm looking for a job that provides my support to homeschooling families while helping children enjoy learning. I started tutoring when my youngest was 3 years old. I tutored Essentials at Classical Conversations and tutored for and assisted several other homeschool families. In my spare time, I like to spend quality time with my friends and church family, be involved in ministry, and be involved in outreach to the community. Other favorite ways I love to spend time is playing games with friends and organizing. I absolutely love to organize! One thing you should know about me is that I am passionate about loving and helping others. My top three skills include teaching reading, grammar, and writing to younger children.
