I am a stay at home mom of (2) young boys, ages 7 and 9. I have my degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Special Ed. I taught with Miami-Dade County Public Schools for many years, as a lead instructional teacher in an inclusion classroom. I was recognized in 2012 as Teacher of the Year for my school and a runner-up for Miami-Dade County. I have numerous years of experience caring for children, particularly those who demonstrate different learning styles (EBD, Autism, Aspergers, ADHD.) I'm honest, patient, friendly, and compassionate. I'm currently seeking a part-time position that will allow for me to be present with my boys school/sporting events.
