About Deborah

I'm passionate about teaming with parents to provide the very best care and a nurturing environment. I have a bachelor's degree in psychology from UVA and a Master's Degree in Special Education from Grand Canyon University. With my desire to coach and help others, I successfully completed my life coach and relationship coach certificate program through IAP Career College. As a former art school owner, I'm creative and love to be a part of children discovering their creativity as I know this can be healing and confidence boosting. I have a patient, calm, approachable nature which allows me to connect with children and foster their development. I believe in open communication with parents and provide regular updates. I'm comfortable with enforcing household rules, creating charts, using positive rewards, and setting goals creating a safe, nurturing, structured environment. My services are generally short term, and time and duration are based on the family's needs and situation.
