I started nursing school in California August of 85 and completed 10 months of school due a complicated pregnancy( near death of me and my son) I did not return to school! After 3 yrs of home care for my child I went into private duty nursing and provided care to an elderly lady for 4 yrs until her death! Companion care, bathing, preparing meals, light housekeeping, medication management,, Dr appts , Alzheimer care , wound care, etc.. 2years of Assisted Living 5 years working for 14 cardiologist, EKG , pacemaker and AICD implant care Moved 5 years worked in General Surgery for a private group of physicians and worked under their licenses , Assisted in patient care, minor surgical procedures , wound care for cancer patients, became pregnant 12 years after first Son then another son 2 years after 2nd With 3 sons I did not return to Nursing school I have had a home daycare for Teachers, lawyers, police, Husband and wife Judges in Fayette co Ga for 20 years!
