About Deborah

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, patient, fun. I like tutoring because I love helping people find their strengths and watching them enjoy doing something they thought they could do. I'm looking for a job that allows me to use my skills in English, writing, drama, and piano to help others succeed. I started tutoring when I was in high school when I started teaching piano and volunteering to help classmates. In my spare time, I like to writing on my site work on my novel, volunteer with Hospice, teach acting skills, dog sit, play with my dogs and my horse. One thing you should know about me is I am among the most dedicated tutors you will ever meet. I feel it's my job to teach. I tell my students this: My job is to teach. Your job is to practice what we learn. If you don't understand something I'm teaching, I'm failing, not you. It's my job to find the best way to help you learn. My skills include writing, reading comprehension, drama, and music.
