About Deborah

Hi! My name is Deb. I babysit in my home in Linden. I graduated from Lock Haven in 1989 with a degree in Early Childhood Ed. I taught pre-school and pre-kdg classes before becoming a stay-at-home-Mom in 1994. I have 4 older children of my own (2 in middle school, 1 in college and 1 out of school). I have been babysitting in my home for the past 18+ years. I currently babysit other children, so your child will have playmates. I've watched children as young as 2 months, as old as 15 years, and every age in between. I've helped kids go from bottles to sippy cups, from fingers to silverware and from diapers to underwear. I really enjoy the younger kids(birth-2). I like watching them grow and learn things like crawling, walking, talking, & feeding themselves! I also enjoy the older kids(3-5). I like teaching them counting, ABC's, coloring & sharing. I like to encourage independence in young kids, while at the same time, being right there to guide them along the way. We do a lot of puzzles, coloring and building with various types of toys. There's something here for everyone, even infants! We have nap from 1:00-3:00 daily. I have a fenced in playground, great for safe outdoor play. I provide all meals, snacks & drinks (except for those things needed by infants-parents supply those things). I'm available M-F, 6:30a-5:30 p.m. My references are excellent! Hope to hear from you soon! Deb
