About Deborah

I have raised four children and I'm the grandmother to 14! I love children. Being a grandmother to 14 has given me experience with a broad range of personalities and special needs. I have three special-needs granddaughters who are severely autistic. I actually think autism is a superpower. I am the fun grandma. I come up with creative activities for them. For example, I had them build cars out of cardboard boxes and we had a drive-in in the backyard. They had monopoly money to purchase their snacks and the older ones had to do the math to figure out their change. I believe patience is key with children. If we are curious with children, we can spark their curiosity. I don't have years of paid experience because the best pay for raising children is seeing them become amazing adults and getting hugs from my grandchildren.
