Our mother had a stroke in 2012, losing use of her left side. After months of rehab, we were not sure we would be able to bring her home and we did not want to put her in a nursing home. We were truly blessed to find Debbie. She cared for our mother for eight years. Early on our father began declining due to his Parkinson's, so for a couple of years early on, she cared for my father as well until he passed away. She was kind and caring and a wonderful caregiver. She has a lot of energy and kept both my parents very engaged. On top of care-giving, she took care of their house--cleaning, laundry and cooking. Debbie is a planner and is very dependable. She went above and beyond for our parents, getting them out of the house to different events or to an occasional lunch or dinner out of the house. She became part of our family and we are truly grateful to her for all she did for our parents. I highly recommend her.
