I have assisted my mother-in-law who is 80 years old with general needs of common elderly care. She is not able to walk on her own and is a diabetic. She doesn't understand the proper life care needed to take care of herself, being a diabetic, so it is up to her family to provide this information. I take her to doctors appointments, hair appointments.... I cook and clean for her, call her doctors to make sure they are aware of the issues that she goes through. I don't have college credits in assisting the elderly or those in need of help but I have a great deal of respect and love for those who can't assist themselves. I credit myself on having a great deal of patients. God has been good to me and I feel like if I can give back to just one person in need of assistance then I'm helping to do God's work. I love to craft and garden. I have two Parrot birds who I love very much. I have been married for 26 years and look forward to many more! Family is very important to me.
