I started caring for children with special needs at a very early age when I would volunteer to spend my time with the special needs programs after school from middle to high school. Throughout my years of nannying I have dealt with children of all kinds - diagnosed & undiagnosed with being on the spectrum. I understand the need for extra attentiveness and patience. I have experience with children who can react violently and have sudden outbursts as well as children who can get overstimulated/overwhelmed easily.
