Being a big kid myself, I've had success in dealing with children and young adults with many different physical and psychological issues. Although I have not done special needs as a living, my background is well-sprinkled with good, hands-on experience. I was a CNA, the Business Mgr. of a large Assisted Living w/Memory Care, A CPR/Choke Instructor (Infant/Child/Adult) for over 25 yrs. and I have a greater than average medical knowledge. I am extremely creative, I love any kind of art, drawing, cooking, clay and lots of outside play & sports. I sing, play guitar (a little less these years) and have very even moods and a lot of patience. I have to, I have a teen! I also love animals, so if you have 'em, I expect some fuzzy snuggles! I have 2 boys - 1 of which is autistic. Debbie watched them on two "date nights", and was very helpful both nights. She was on time, very energetic, and even sent some hilarious photos in the middle of the evening to let me know things were going well -- and the boys were having a blast! I'd definitely hire Debbie again if she's available!
