I've been a caregiver since I took my first childcare job in 1995 at a daycare center in Patterson, New York. There, I worked with children of various age groups for 10 years, from 18 months to 11 years old. I am a patient, calm, and friendly caregiver who can easily adapt to a family's routine. I communicate with parents about their child's day or any issues that arise using their preferred method of communication. If necessary, I can help with cooking, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. I also love to play board games, puzzles, and educational games that promote learning. I'm comfortable enforcing household rules as instructed by the parents. I'm seeking a position where I can care for up to three children, and I'm open to working with all age groups. I owned a licensed daycare in Yorktown for 27 years. I hired Debbi as an assistant in 2011, and I still work with her today, in 2024. Over the years, I’ve watched her care for newborns through elementary aged children, first hand. She is very patient, responsible, listens to directions and is dependable. She always arrived on time to work, and the children adored her. If Debbi is caring for your children, they are in very capable hands.
