I'd describe my personality as responsive, adaptable, and caring. I like tutoring because I enjoy working one-on-one with students. I care about students well-being and desire to see them succeed. I'm looking for a job that allows me to regularly tutor with a student during after-school hours, as I am a full-time certified 5th Gr. teacher during the day. I started tutoring when I was in college, during which I tutored peers in music theory and English courses. I have also tutored students during summer months in math and reading. In my spare time, I like to sing songs, read books, drink tea, and watch family-friendly musicals. One thing you should know about me is that I enjoy tutoring students of all abilities and all levels. My skills include responsiveness to the student, the ability to gauge where they are at, and a strong desire to help the student succeed.
