About Deanna

I am fully certified by RIDE to teach grades 7-12 and have completed all Praxis and study requirements to teach grades 5 & 6. I earned my Master's in Education from URI in 2021, and my full qualifications can be found in my teaching portfolio linked below. I have over three years of teaching experience and 14 years of working directly with children, including raising three of my own. I am well-versed in both online and in-person instruction, one-on-one or collaborative. Beyond English education, I am also a part-time artist passionate about fostering creativity in students and love incorporating artistic practices into my teaching of the English language. I am also the owner and director of the Student Athlete Learning Center, where I am dedicated to helping student-athletes excel academically and athletically.
