About Deanna

I stayed with a lady around the clock for five days per week; supervising her bath, how to wipe herself properly, and dress. I got very fulfilled by bringing her joy by dressing her up, conversing with her about how pretty she looks and how we have fun together. I made her exercise fun and creative; "we were buddies!" I cooked her healthy, delicious food, took her to grocery shop, doctor appointments, church, fun community activities, etc. Every time she repeated herself, I responded as though she said it for the firs time. Her husband said I was the "best caregiver she ever had". After they both passed I helped a couple in Tampa. I am always fulfilled by doing this type of work, and I feel that it is the highest honor on earth to care for another human being. I believe in "positive energy" and I refer to the challenges of personal assistant/caregiver as "Spiritual exercise!"
