About Deanna

I've devoted my life to homeschooling my children and caring for children in need. In 2016, my family became a Host Family for Safe Families, caring for a diverse group of women and children in need. During this time, encouraging the mothers in a variety of ways awakened my eyes to the difficulties faced by many in vulnerable situations. As my resume indicates, I have had a variety of positions throughout my life, most of which were voluntary. After discovering my passions, I am now trying to pursue a job in the area I am most interested in. I have engaged in and led small group bible studies with youth girls and young women, as well as small group leader for young adults/adults in our congregation. I assisted with fundraising and organizing our yearly medical/dental mission trip to El Salvador. I am a Trauma Recovery Coach who has also received biblical counseling certification. I devote close attention to detail.
