About Daysia

Aloha e! My name is Daysia. I began working with kids at 15 at an elementary A+ program where I stayed at for 5 years. When COVID happened and schools closed down, I became a sitter for two toddlers for a year while also watching my newborn nephew overnight before beginning my job as a SPED EA for a preschool. An opportunity presented itself and I became a SPED Preschool teacher which I truly loved and enjoyed. Unfortunately, I needed to work closer to home, but that led me to what I do now, which is a SPED inclusion teacher for grades K-3. I'm very lucky to be in a career which allots intercessions, I want to use my summer intercession as an opportunity to work with the littles again :) thank you!
