I've been an occupational therapist for 22 years with experience in long-term care and geriatrics working with various disabilities and illnesses including dementia, COPD, Parkinson's, CVA, post-surgical patients, generalized weakness, diabetes, visual loss, hearing impaired, mental illness, etc. I genuinely love to help other people and provide companionship, while helping to maximize their independence and improve their quality of life. I'm very caring, empathetic, responsible, and hard-working. I love to make people smile! It is so rewarding to bring happiness and make a positive impact on someone's life. I have been a private OT/caregiver providing caregiving services, companionship, occupational therapy, medication management, medical care management, transportation, recreational/leisure activities, safety training/DME assessment, etc. for multiple families for the past 8 years and it has been the most wonderful, rewarding experience.
