First of all a bit about myself: I'm an honest, hard-working, patient and responsible person. I love working with children and I have a lot of experience with them. I worked as an au pair for 2 years in New Jersey taking care of children from 5 months old to 6 years old. Also I've took care of infants from newborns to 2 years old. I take care of everything related to the kids, such as, managing calendars, taking them to different activities, doing laundry, organizing their playrooms and planning fun activities for them to do. I like to chip in with household chores and I'm very good at organizing and keeping everything neat. Additionally, I'm a certified English teacher in Colombia and I have experience in the education field too. I'm fluent in English and Spanish. I've been working with kids for the past 9 years. Dayana is amazing!! I cannot thank her enough for how good she's been to our daughter and family. She's incredibly respectful to the family and the child, reliable, honest and so much fun to be around. I don't know how she does it but she knows just when and how to discipline without crossing the line and in a way for a young child to understand. My daughter absolutely loves her and I had terrible mommy guilt when we needed to transition (only because we needed much shorter hours). Even after a year of Dayana's departure, my daughter still talks about her and expresses how much she misses her. When Dayana visits or helps out on the weekend, my daughter wakes up at the crack of dawn and just waits for her arrival. She literally jumps up (even if she's watching her favorite show) and rushes to the door to greet her. Dayana was a gift to our family and anyone who has her would be so lucky!!
