About Dawn

In my previous career I had the privilege of caring for our older generation, which was a deeply rewarding and enlightening experience, for which I would like to regain the pleasure. Throughout that position, I developed a strong sense of empathy and patience, as I provided assistance with daily activities like meal preparation, medication reminders, and personal care. I made sure to create a safe and comfortable environment, always considering their emotional well-being and ensuring they felt heard and respected. I also helped them maintain connections with loved ones, whether through regular visits or helping with phone calls, which contributed greatly to their sense of happiness and stability. Over time, I learned how to anticipate their needs, offering support when required while also encouraging independence. This experience has greatly expanded my understanding of aging, and I've developed a deep appreciation for the value of companionship and attentive care.
