About Dawn

I am the mother of a 19-year-old & two older step-kids. Until moving to NV, I worked for 10 yrs at a K-8 school as a special ed para. Working with sweet children that needed extra support throughout the day. Before having a son of my own & being a stay at home mom for 10 yrs, I worked as a nanny. I worked with multiple families for about 8 yrs. I have my Adult & Ped First Aid CPR/AED cert. Valid until 10/30/26. I'm not a great cook. I try though. I can do great lunches, sandwiches, fruit and veggies, tofu, pasta. I'm great with the basics. Now that my son is grown, & we've moved away from family, I'd like to get back into childcare. Caring for children, when a parent could use a break, was a great fit for me in the past & I'd like to do that again. I'm looking to work a few hours during the day. Maybe you'd like to volunteer, shop, run, have lunch with friends. My favorites to do with littles are crafts, walks, swimming, reading aloud, using our imagination, & being in nature.
