I am a mature, caring, and responsible person who knows the value of reliable caregiving and how it positively impacts children's lives. I am new to paid childcare but I have many transferrable skills including being trustworthy, patient, calm and I can engage kids with a variety of activities. I have no problem with food prep, cooking/clean up, and have reliable transportation. I am certified in Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED. I am comfortable with pets and can also do pet sitting or dog walking. During the week I have a FT job as an academic advisor at UCSD, so I am primarily available during the evenings and on weekends. I have raised two college-age daughters (Stanford and Cornell) and am great with kids and enjoy being helpful to busy parents. I have a MA and over 25 years of experience in Higher Ed. I taught at a community college for 16 years and can tutor and help kids with homework, study skills, writing, and test prep. I look forward to working with your family.
