Having children was my biggest desire and unfortunately I had a very hard time having them. So, needless to say when that beautiful time came I chose to stay home with them and raise them. I also wanted to have them around other children so I opened up a daycare and ran that for 11 years. When my children attended school (we homeschooled for a few years) I was able to work as the lower school librarian in the same school. We then moved to a magnet school and I was blessed to be able to retain a job there as the secretary to the principal. My love for children has intensified since having grandchildren! My happy place is with children. Nothing better than to watch a child grow strong and secure in themselves and things around them and knowing you had a peer in it.
