This is the background check we require for all caregivers.
Experience: 10 yrs
I have done a select few at-home care positions, from basic needs to Hospice. I enjoy what I do, because I feel it is a gift I am able to give to people with the need because of limited abilities. To give a loved one and their family the possibility to spend their last days or moments in a personal familiar environment, with their family, is very personal. I come to love my person or persons that I care for, and spending my time with them. I love to cook, I am a non smoker non drinker. I am a medically retired police officer with a love for Elderly and kids. I am ERT/CPR and AED certified. I have my MHRT1 which is Mental Health Rehab Therapist and CRMA Certified Registered Medication Aid. I worked as a volunteer for Lisbon EMS. I am a volunteer firefighter/ERT. Please no Marijuana growers I am deathly allergic!

Dawn has been my provider for 6 years now. My daughter in Florida hired her and she has been a blessing. She has great communication skills, and very versatile in her abilities. She is a problem solver and takes initiative to fix things without having to be asked. She has done everything from cleaning my house provider me with amazing meals and changing batteries in my car key FOB and watches! She has tool kits for just about anything. One day she heard me making calls trying to find someone to clean my gutters and while I was making calls she went out in my garage grabbed the ladder and did it! She even worked on my car when I was having problems. She has sewn some clothing items that needed repair and she has a wonderful therapy dog she brings to visit. When she is in the area she will drop by to check in and often drops items off for me. I am so grateful for my daughter hiring her. When I had surgery and went home she slept on my couch for a week and didn't charge extra for her stay. Shebis a fine Cristian woman I would recommend her to anyone.
