About Dawn

I can help you or a child with English homework, English tutoring, essays, test prep, reading comprehension, and communication skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening). I have a BA in English with a focus on Corporate Communication. I can assist with middle-school, high-school, college or professional-level work. I have 5 years of experience teaching both adults and children. I am certified by the Texas Education Agency to teach English Language Arts and Reading to children grades 7-12 and have done so for over 2 years. I hold an additional English as a Second Language certification. I have tutored adults in test and writing skills since 2019. I have taught homebound students, part-time, for 2 years. I am fluent in English but my Spanish is lacking.
