I have 15+ years professional Nanny experience. I have earned my Bachelors degree, certificates in Early Childhood Education and Newborn Care Specialist training, and several certifications through the Red Cross, including CPR/1st Aide and EpiPen training. My education is continually updated to maintain best practices. I prefer conscious parenting, healthy fresh meals, and reading and the outdoors over screen time. I have a wide range of experience with all age groups. I have nannied over 20 newborns (birth-8wks), and several infants and toddlers until their school age years. From overnight newborn care to tutoring teenagers, I've done it all! I have experience with twins and families with up to 4 children. We have thoroughly enjoyed having Dawne work for our family during the summer of 2024. If you are looking for a very experienced care giver to love on your kids like their own, Dawne is the right person for the job. She helped my 8 month old son establish a daily routine, develop a love for books and improve communication with baby sign. As a first time mom with very little experience taking care of infants and toddlers, I really appreciated having Dawne's expertise and mentorship to help me take care of my son in a way that was respectful to my son's needs. She is fully up to date with the latest early childhood education methodologies and practices a blend of Montessori and gentle parenting that feels intuitive to use with babies who can't yet tell us with words what they want and need. We have learned so much from Dawne this summer and we are very grateful to have had her help this summer.
