I have four adult children of my own. I have volunteered over 20 years in a variety of different schools. I use to work in the Washington Elementary School District for 11 years teaching reading, writing and arithmetic. I also started the group Peer Mediators to help children find a better problem solving solution talking their issues out rather than resorting to physically hurting one another. Volunteering to raise money for children's charities whether it would be being in a play, or being the Vice President of the Booster Club at the school to raise money for all the school's athletic or recreational clubs has been my passion. Animals are my passion too! I volunteer at the Brambley Hedge Rabbit Rescue every Saturday morning giving water, and hay to those wonderful, sweet, furry animals. I am also their head groomer. I love children and animals very much.

Dawn babysat for us on multiple occasions. She was wonderful with my two children who are 3 and 6 years old. She fed them, played with them and put them down for naps. Dawn has always been on time, brought her manners and took great care of our children. I highly recommend her.
