Dawn provided excellent care for my daughter for several months starting when she was 11 weeks old. Originally, I only planned to hire Dawn part-time for back-up babysitting on a short-term basis when my daughter could not attend daycare. Dawn was very patient with my uncertainties about the number of hours and exact days of the week that the job would entail. From our first meeting though, I could see that Dawn was a kind and trustworthy person who truly enjoyed working with infants. After a short time with Dawn caring for my daughter part time, I decided to withdraw my daughter from daycare and place her under Dawn's care full time. Dawn provided my daughter with one-on-one bonding during a crucial part of her life. Her duties included holding, rocking, feeding, changing, and playing with my daughter. As a first-time mom with zero family nearby to offer any guidance, it was extremely helpful having someone so knowledgable caring for our daughter. I was able to ask her questions when needed on things like bottle feeding, walking shoes, and everything in between. Dawn was also very communicative about how my daughter did each day, sending regular pictures of their activities together. It was very comforting knowing my daughter was in the hands of someone as kind and generous as Dawn. Due to a family emergency, our childcare situation changed. However, we definitely intend to hire Dawn again for date nights! For anyone looking for a professional and caring babysitter or nanny, I highly recommend Dawn.
