About Emily

I am a senior in high school, and I have participated in a Mentoring Program at my school for the past two years. I have tutored varying subjects from AP Literature to Algebra I, and I am currently enrolled in courses such as AP Latin and AP U. S. Government, among others. I am also very fond of music, having played piano since I was 6 years old, and I currently participate in the highest level Choir at my high school. I have made the Honor Roll for the past four years, and I was elected as Secretary of the National Honors Society (NHS) for my class at my school. Additionally, I was chosen by my teachers to lead my peers on a student lead high school retreat, first as a leader and then as a rector (leader of student leaders). I have experience in coaching private tennis lessons to a second grader, and I participated on the varsity tennis team at my high school. I am an avid learner myself, and I love helping others to attain knowledge whether academic, musical, or athletic.
