Hi, I have worked as a nanny for three families over the past 10 years. I also have previous professional experience at Knowledge Beginnings, and Kinder Care daycare centers, and volunteer experience in elementary school classrooms. I am fully vaccinated and get COVID and flu shots annually. I am also First Aid and CPR trained through an OSHA-approved Red Cross class (Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED). My Dad worked for the State Department so I grew up overseas in Germany, Russia, Australia, China, Sweden, and Taiwan. I returned to the U. S. to complete high school at Hawaii Preparatory Academy and then went on to college in New York State, where I received a Bachelor's in Psychology from the SUNY College at Oswego. My hobbies include reading, LEGO, and hiking.

Dawn is phenomenal and has been with us since M was just months old. He adores her and she's taught us so much. I'm ashamed to say that she had to remind us that babies need a small library for their cognitive development and took it upon herself to buy books and read to M. Fast forward to spring 2020 and she needed to leave us. We were stunned by how much M retained. He was able to paraphrase pages of his favorites and giggle on cue. Don't get me started on the painting, true-to-life animals, color swatches, Duplo blocks, and the countless other supplies and activities that we were remiss to furnish as parents but were fortunate to have Dawn step in and show us the way. I know he has a blast when they're together but she's instilled a love for learning in him that only true gems of teachers could. He is off to preschool this fall. We are so thankful to have had Dawn when we did but still wish she could be with us forever.
