Hi! My name is Davida. I have a passion for caring for disabled children, and learning more about the best ways to provide disabled people care, support, and companionship. My passion was formed in my teen years as a primary caretaker for an autistic family member. I pride myself on being a patient and kind person and finding joy in every day with the children I care for. I have 6 years of professional childcare experience, three of those being in various roles working with children and teens on the spectrum. My adult and pediatric CPR/AED/first aid certification was updated August of 2022. I do offer sick care so be mindful if anyone in your home is immunocompromised. I love to learn about the children I work with and tailor our activities to fit their interests and needs. I am looking to pickup day shifts for families who need occasional care or whose nanny/primary caregiver is unavailable.
