About Darrian

I'd describe my personality as loving, empathetic, and persevering. I like working with kids because it's my calling. Ive only worked in the childcare industry because I love being there to support the development of children, to make sure that they feel loved, safe, and confident as they grow. I'm looking for a job that doesn't just treat me like an employee but as an extension of their family because that's how I treat kids in my care. As well as great communication. I started working with kids in 2017 at a summer camp, since then I've served 5 summers with Winshape Camps and worked in a couple daycares for a collective total of four years. In my spare time, I like to read, play and listen to music, learn Brazilian Portuguese, and just be in community with my people. One thing you should know about me is that I am going to go the extra mile when serving others at all times because that is what I'm called to do. My skills include patience, empathy, and active listening.
