About Darling

Darling O. worked with me in two capacities for two organizations. I first met her several years ago when she was a ward secretary at a medical center in Los Angeles, where I have been a physician. As such, she transcribed orders into the computer, interacted with different departments to facilitate patient flow, assisted nurses with equipment orders, and the like. She was very willing and able and kept her antennae on, paying attention to what other MDs and RNs were saying and doing so that she would be ready for the next step before she was asked. Not all staff do that, as some just sit there and wait until they received instructions. She anticipated. Once she got her LVN, I also worked with her via hospice, for which I have been a consulting and visiting physician. For about a year, she was one of two case managers who contacted me about patient problems, field nurse questions, pharmacy issues, and the like. Subsequently she herself has spent more time in the field, visiting patients, and not working in the office as a case manager. She has a big heart and a lot of concern for her patient's welfare. I can recommend her as a trustworthy caregiver for adult patients. (I have no experience with pediatrics.)
