About Darlene

I'd describe my personality as someone who is gentle, loving, and kind. I like working with kids because I love seeing their world develop. I'm looking for a job that gives me an opportunity to help a child grow and blossom. I started working with kids when I was a teenager. I then raised 3 successful children of my own. When my youngest graduated from high school, she suggested I volunteer. That began my 12 year relationship with Casa De Los Ninos. 9 years as a volunteer and almost 3 years as an employee. I left Casa when my son had his first child. In my spare time, I like to read, lunch with the ladies, watch movies and possibly spend too much time on social media. Four things you should know about me is I am loyal, honest, trustworthy, and will love your child like my own. My skills include giving hugs, listening, encouraging the artist in each child, reading and helping children believe in themselves.
