About Darlene

I am a stay-at-home mother of three grown children and I was a nanny for another child from her birth to age 4, while I homeschooled one of my children. I relocated to The Villages to be closer to my parents. I am very interested in working with another family again. I love house cleaning, laundry, and errands, gardening, and I have been told I am a great cook. I particularly like to prepare meals from scratch but I can pull off anything needed. With children, I enjoy working on household tasks, and homework, and falling upon learning moments that inspire me throughout the day. I am funny, sometimes silly, but also serious when needed. It is unusual if I am not smiling. I also believe strongly in protecting the family and a child's privacy. My previous career experience was in Real Estate Sales and Hospitality/Tourism Management. We are a firefighter family, homebodies, very close with each other, no surprises, no drama.
