I have made my living helping others for 19 years. I spent a year as a full-time live-in caregiver with a terminal cancer patient. I was difficult but rewarding. I have decided that a 24-hour live-in situation is not for me. Ideally, I would like to spend several hours a day enjoying the company of several different people doing busy work, running errands, and/or driving someone to appointments. I am kind, and I have a calm and nurturing presence. I would prefer to be in a non-smoking home. If I am transporting someone to appointments, I will need to use your car, mine vehicle is fun and adventurous, but not accessible for most people... I would also consider a live-in situation where I am available at night for emergencies, first thing in the morning and again in the evening.
