Hello, my name is Daria. I am a 29 yo trained doula, herbalist and farmer. I'm caring and patient, and I try to keep an eye on the needs of both children and parents. I've just completed my undergraduate degree at Cornell University in pre-health, with a minor in Health Equity. I'm CPR/AED certified for infants, children and adults. I'm happy to help with laundry, cooking, or any other needs. I have several excellent references I'd be glad to share. It should be noted that I will also be doing some birth doula work this year--this is an on-call job, which means my ideal nannying clients may have some flexibility if I am called last minute to attend a birth. Of course we can negotiate this arrangement in a way that meets the needs of all. My asking rate is $30/hour, though I can be somewhat flexible on this, contingent on financial need. I am happy to simply chat on the phone or come over for a trial run to see if we're a good fit. I look forward to meeting you and your family!

Daria is our current caregiver to our 15 month old son. She has been working with us for 5 months - therefore, she has participated in a lot of developmental changes as our 10 month old became a toddler (night routines, bottles, solids, walking, sign language, talking). She is extremely thoughtful and respectful, which makes communication very easy and direct. She has a calm, yet fun and engaged disposition, and can keep up with a very physical toddler. Our son took to her right away and spends the day laughing with her. She is extremely empathetic; both my toddler and I have benefited from this greatly. I think her doula work is well matched, she clearly cares about women, and she is sensitive and intuitive to our family's specific needs.
