About Darea

I'm passionate about fostering children's growth and development, and I'm excited to bring my two years of experience in childcare to your family. I've served as a science teaching assistant and resident tutor for high school and college students, teaching Anatomy, Physiology, and Biology. During a summer program, I supervised a group of 50 gifted high school students, ensuring their safety both in and out of the classroom, which included staying in the dorms with them. Additionally, my experience as a studio fellow at the University of Delaware helped me guide undergraduate students in problem-solving and inquiry-based learning, enhancing my mentoring skills. I'm a patient, calm, creative, and friendly individual who enjoys engaging children in various activities such as outdoor sports, board games, and educational games. I believe in open and honest communication with parents and will follow your preferred method for discussing your child's day or any concerns that may arise.
