About Darcy

I am in educator with over 10 years of teaching in child care experience who holds a Master's in Education. I have taught within both public and private schools and currently work as an interpreter/educator in the summer. I am looking for care-giving and nanny and work this winter! I have worked, taught and cared for all ages from toddlers to teenagers. I have extensive experience working with students on the autism spectrum, ADHD, mood regulation, and students with learning differences. From working at a therapy program to a special education classroom I've learned how to build better rapport, whole boundaries, and employee positive redirection. I'm tolerant and patient with challenging behavior and creative and unexpected scenarios. I consider myself to be a balanced and determined caregiver caregiver with excellent de-escalation skills.
