About Darby

Hi! I'm so glad you're here! My name is Darby, and I've spent over a decade working as an academic tutor and advisor. I graduated from Wake Forest University in 2019 and I am a current Graduate student at Columbia University. Because I've been in the academic world for so long - both as a student and as an advisor - I understand how overwhelming school and the college application process can be. I didn't always have someone in my corner, which is why I'm so passionate about being that person for others. Applying to college is overwhelming - but it doesn't have to be. I guide students through the entire process: building a school list, organizing deadlines, brainstorming and editing essays, completing applications, and more. Whether you're just starting or already deep into it, I'll help you stay on track and put your best foot forward.
