Hello! My name is Darby and I am interested in working with your family as a newborn care specialist and postpartum doula. I have 11 years of newborn & infant experience including in home and in hospital experience with singletons, multiples, preemies & medically fragile infants. Being trained in both of these roles allows me to approach supporting families through a holistic lens to support the newest member or members of the family as well as the parents through lactation, sleep management and their postpartum experience. Educationally, I have my teaching credential and BA in Psychology and Education, as well as a Masters in Child Life. As far as my experience with young ones, I have worked with babies as young as nano-premies all the way up to school aged children. Darby is an 11/10 caregiver, but also equally as kind and warm of a person. My wife and I worked with her for 9 weeks with our first born son and during that time she went above and beyond her duties to help us educate ourselves on all the new parts of parenting as they came our way. We're grateful to Darby for everything and any family that gets to work with her will quickly realize how much better off their family is with her in their lives.
