About Daphne

I taught information literacy skills to elementary students for eight years. I have worked in a public library for 20 years. I tutored fifth grade students after school in reading and writing to help them with their end-of-grade tests. I have helped people of various ages and ability levels find the information they seek. I do not believe in giving students the answer, but instead, I believe in giving them the skills they need to find the information on their own. I also believe in adapting my style to best suit how the student learns, as each child is uniquely gifted. I know how to reach students on their level. I am kind and patient; I am smart and dependable as well.
