About Daon

While, like most teachers, I believe all students can learn, I also understand the importance of educating the entire child. This includes emphasizing social, physical and emotional well-being in addition to their academic development. Children, as well as adults, are most receptive when their primary needs are met. As a teacher I strive to meet these needs in a welcoming environment in which students feel respected and valued. My goal is to help students excel based on their individual ability and guide them to becoming independent thinkers and democratic citizens who are conscious of their impact on the world around them.
