About Dani

One thing you should know about me is that I always follow my heart and treat others how I want to be treated. I like caring for seniors because I have always enjoyed interacting with them, and I feel as though I get along well with elders from different backgrounds. I started caring for seniors when my father was diagnosed with cancer and was unable to care for himself independently. I felt called to fulfill that role and to make sure his physical, emotional, and social needs were met and that he was able to retain his dignity and enjoy his life. I then realized that this role was a good fit for my skills and personality and decided to pursue a paid position where I assisted with various personal care tasks and engaged in games, outings, and other activities as desired. In my spare time, I like to play with my dogs, spend time with my family and friends, watch movies, listen to music, and go shopping at thrift and antique stores.
