Hello! My name is Danika and I am a patient, kind, and reliable attendant to children and young adults with disabilities. My care experience is extensive. I worked as a babysitter, camp counselor, and educator all through high school. From 2016 through 2017 I worked as an in-home provider for the IHSS for a disabled adult, providing companionship, light cleaning, meal prep, and hygiene care. From 2017 through 2022, I worked in homes and in schools as a special education assistant and behavior therapist. I am currently a graduate student at for Occupational Therapy. I plan to work in pediatric occupational therapy following graduation. I have had positive, lasting professional relationships with people with disorders ranging from Spinal Muscular Atrophy, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrom, ADHD, and deafness.
