About Daniel

Hi! My name is Daniel, and I'm a certified educator with a Master's in Education and two years of experience teaching at a Chicago Public High School. I currently work as a special education teacher in 9th grade Math and Social Studies classrooms, where I specialize in adapting lessons to support diverse learning needs and helping students build confidence in the classroom. I earned my undergraduate degree in Economics and Spanish, graduating with honors and a 4. 0 GPA. I was honored to receive the Lincoln Laureate Award, one of Illinois' most prestigious academic recognitions. Outside of academics, I was actively involved in leadership-- serving as Student Senate President, president of my fraternity, and a leader in my college's Model UN organization. Beyond education, I bring a well-rounded background that includes service in AmeriCorps, a year in corporate finance at a Chicago consulting firm, and hands-on experience in childcare, pet care, and elder care!
